Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage litigation cases with minimal supervision
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support complex litigation strategies
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Prepare cases for trial, including discovery, depositions, and witness preparation
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Mentor junior attorneys and paralegals to develop their skills and expertise
• Maintain organized case files and ensure documentation is up-to-date
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a proven track record of successful case management and courtroom advocacy
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Current admission to the Utah State Bar (or ability to become admitted within a reasonable timeframe)
• Excellent communication, research, and writing skills
• Ability to handle a high volume of cases with a keen attention to detail
