Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Shape and implement an IT vision that aligns with the company’s long-term business objectives. Spearhead major digital transformation initiatives, with a focus on AI and automation to streamline operations and drive innovation.
- Innovation & Industry Foresight: Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends, positioning IT as a key enabler of business growth and market leadership.
- Executive Collaboration: Partner with the executive team and key business leaders to identify technology needs, develop a clear roadmap, and implement solutions that align with business goals. Build strong relationships across business units to understand and support evolving needs.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a global IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Equip IT leaders to anticipate technological shifts and build a succession plan for future leadership.
- Resource & Budget Management: Oversee the IT budget, ensuring investments in technology are strategically aligned to drive growth and optimize costs. Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to maximize resource efficiency.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance. Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning to safeguard the organization from potential disruptions.
Key First-Year Objectives:
- Establish strong relationships with the executive team and IT leadership.
- Conduct an in-depth assessment of the current technology landscape, identifying critical gaps and opportunities.
- Develop a compelling business case for future technology investments that align with strategic goals.
- Build a long-term IT growth framework centered on innovation, performance optimization, and enhanced security.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of IT leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role with a global scope.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale IT initiatives, such as digital transformation and ERP implementations.
- Deep expertise in AI, automation, and emerging technologies that fuel business growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related fields (Master’s degree/MBA preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills with the ability to collaborate across a global organization.
