Title: Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing and repair of assemblies used on military vehicles for one of our largest aerospace clients. This candidate needs to have a background in mechanical assemblies, writing work instructions, and shop floor routing. The Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer should also be able to understand difficult tech packages, understand how to read engineering drawings and GD&T, and also be familiar with bill of materials. They should be able to support multiple projects, in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision.
NOTE: This position is on site daily.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Manufacturing/Process Engineering
- Experience writing work instructions
- Experience with shop floor routing
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, industrial, aerospace engineering or related fields
- Understanding of engineering drawings
GD&T
- DOD or Aerospace background
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP
- 3D modeling experience
- Mechanical Design experience with CREO or similar CAD tool
- Familiarity with MIL standards
