Director, Multifamily Architecture
Locations: Orlando, FL or Salt Lake City, UT
Employees: 250 | In the office 4 days per week, work from home/remotely one day per week
Industry: Architecture and planning, interior design, environmental design
Reports To: National Director
Travel: Occasionally travel to conferences and industry events
Most Important Responsibilities:
- Managing, mentoring, and growing a team of experienced PMs and PAs
- Overseeing budgets, P&L, and other financial aspects of the local office and team
- Building relationships with clients, attending meetings, and overseeing multiple project teams
- Establishing processes to improve design processes, project scope, schedules, quality, staff enrichment, and client satisfaction
- Helping to identify new business opportunities and expand accounts as needed
- Working with the construction administration team and interior design team to resolve issues
- Coordinating project resources and vendors, including owner agreements, consultant agreements, add serves, and budget information
What you can bring to the table to impact this role, team, and organization:
- 10+ years of professional experience in architectural design and construction administration
- Expertise overseeing large-scale multifamily design projects
- Several years of experience managing and leading small teams
- Experience mentoring design staff, overseeing their work, allocating resources, helping to interview, recruit, and retain top talent
- Experience managing design projects through all phases of development
- Experience overseeing budgets, finances, and P&Ls
- Experience building long-term relationships with customers and prospects, including some experience with business development
- Professional license and a professional degree from an accredited college or university
