Job Summary:
The Operations Manager will be a key leader in our firm, responsible for driving operational processes and maintaining a collaborative environment. This role requires someone who is deeply knowledgeable in investment products, can lead by example, and is confident in managing a team. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in the office 5 days a week and should have strong leadership skills to build a positive culture and ensure operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and optimize operational processes to support the advisory team in delivering exceptional client outcomes.
- Foster a strong team culture by leading by example, promoting collaboration, and encouraging continuous improvement.
- Confidently manage the firm’s daily operations, streamlining workflows, and improving efficiencies.
- Provide leadership in investment product knowledge, guiding the team in areas such as equities, mutual funds, and other financial products.
- Act as the operational expert for the advisory team, ensuring seamless delivery of services and alignment with company goals.
- Oversee the CRM system (Redtail), ensuring data accuracy and optimization for client engagement.
- Build and maintain relationships with team members and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire a team.
- Deep understanding of investment products and financial strategies.
- 5+ years of experience in operations management within a financial services firm.
- Series 7 and 63 preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to work in-office 5 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the financial advisory industry.
- Expertise with CRM systems (Redtail preferred).
- Proven ability to build and maintain a strong, positive team culture.
