Summary
This position will support the Major Command Client, US AFRICOM, in the US Army's Logistics Civil Augmentation Program, LOGCAP V Contract from Mogadishu, Somalia on the Continent of Africa. The Senior Scheduler Planner will help maintain the Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule and will report to and work with the Construction Manager.
The working environment at this location can be an indoor workspace or a harsh condition workspace. The Senior Scheduler Planner needs skills and physical abilities necessary to perform the Scheduler Planner job functions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide specialized Scheduling / Planning services to assigned sites, departments, or functions.
- Plans and schedules necessary materials, equipment, personnel, and operational actions required to execute PWS elements in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Assist and guide in the resolution of scheduling / planning problems.
- May participate in work teams to align operational plans and performance against established schedules.
- May provide presentations and/or training sessions as required.
- Ensures that assigned job functions are performed in conformance with client and company requirements.
- Communicates project status, issues, and requirements management as appropriate.
- Follow established procedures and safe work practices at all times.
- Complete all administrative requirements.
- As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with general supervisory duties and responsibilities.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five to eight years’ scheduling and planning related experience.
- Requires computer skills and proficiency using email and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional proficiency using one or more specialized scheduling software tools such as, Microsoft Project 2003/2007/2010, Deltek Open Plan Professional, Oracle’s Primavera P3, P6.
- Experience using one or more Schedule Assessment software tools such as, Acumen Fuse, Government Microsoft Excel-based tool, DCMA 14 Point IMS Assessment, Deltek Schedule Health Assessment, Run! for MS Project, or Steelray Project Analyzer.
- Experience with software tools that help develop a Work Breakdown Structure and help align the PWS with the QASP.
- Experience with Government off-the-shelf and Commercial off-the-shelf software tools and cybersecurity, such as DISA eMASS and Cloud Service, Army Vantage, FAST, others are helpful.
- Valid US Passport, US Citizenship.
- Valid US Driver’s License required.
- Pass Fit-for-Duty Physical Examination.
- Obtain a clear SF85 Background Check.
- Pass 10-panel Drug Screen.
