The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation and maintenance to support business needs. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different business units. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing environment along with "hands on" maintenance skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team, including training and coaching
- Lead the maintenance team by showcasing hands-on experience
- Establish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity, and reliability
- Manage the daily functions of the business including operations and quality
- Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed
- Manage budget to align with goals of business
- Drive efficiency, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an Operations Manager in a manufacturing environment
- Maintenance background with hands-on understanding of equipment and systems
- Hands-on experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) / Allen Bradley
