Role overview:
Responsible for building, managing, and nurturing relationships with the multi-dwelling unit complexes and townhome communities that Clearwave Fiber serves. As the point-person for property owners, developers, onsite/centralized managers, and residents, the MDU Account Manager will play a pivotal role in driving penetration and profitability for the segment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, relationship-oriented professional with a strategic sales mindset and the ability to operate at a high-level cross-functionally.
Responsibilities include:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with property managers and leasing staff to drive subscriber penetration and revenue growth
- Provide property management with all necessary collateral, promotional items, and sales tools to maximize product adoption
- Manage the sales process and effectively communicate offers to leasing agents, including guidance on how to pitch our services.
- Engage with residents through the coordination and hosting of onsite events to enhance brand awareness
- Ensure compliance to and manage the operational components of all residential agreements and contracts (i.e. EMAs)
- Serve as the primary Clearwave Fiber liaison/point-of-contact/escalation point and work proactively to maintain and improve Clearwave Fiber's relationships and standing within the communities we serve
o Promote a positive image of the Clearwave Fiber brand and offering
- Facilitate and manage intracompany coordination (sales, installation, repair, and construction/engineering) for resolution of customer and broader community challenges from pre-construction to property maturity
- Analyzes, researches, resolves, refers, and follows up on customer complaints regarding billing, credits, and services in an expedient and professional manner, including monitoring community detractors and maintaining open communications with them
- Track, monitor, and analyze service penetration levels for all properties; support development of action plans where needed
- Perform other duties as assigned to assist with the overall goals of exceeding the revenue and profitability targets while maximizing customer delight
- Position may require up to 40% travel to effectively manage property relationships
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years' experience in account management, customer success, or outside sales roles; preference for roles within the telecommunications or related industries
- Knowledge of and a track record of success working within the multifamily/MDU space
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation, and written communications skills.
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
- Self-motivated and must excel in a minimally managed, high profile position
- A valid driver's license
