Job Description:
A Cyber Mission Analyst To defend USAF infrastructure (AFIN) at the base level from cyber threats.

Responsibilities:
- Threat Analysis: Identify, monitor, and analyze cyber threats.
- Coordination: Coordinate cyberspace orders among missions and correlate cyber intelligence.
- Mission Support: Provide threat notifications to AF mission/weapon systems.
- Collaboration: Communicate with various teams (cyber, intelligence, engineering, logistics, maintenance) for persistent cyber defense.
- Information Security:
- Understand DoD mission assurance concepts and their relevance to USAF.
- Investigate network activities to determine Mission Relevant Terrain Cyber (MRT-C) support.
- Develop strategies to mitigate cyber risks.
- Create and implement strategies to merge and display MRT-C.
- Identify and analyze trends to define MRT-C requirements.
- Assist with FMA-C, including defense plan development.
- Establish databases and monitoring systems.
- Utilize classified and unclassified networks for support and information distribution.
- Review and recommend policies, procedures, and organization design.
- Resolve events and incidents, and brief recommendations.
- Define and perform vulnerability assessments.
- Conduct research, analysis, and correlation across data sets.
- Coordinate with enterprise-wide cyber defense staff.
- Document and escalate incidents.
- Perform cyber defense trend analysis and reporting.
- Perform event correlation to gain situational awareness.
- Analyze network alerts and determine possible causes.
Qualifications:
- Clearance: Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information System Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline in cybersecurity or information technology.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ Level II Certification, CCSP or Cloud+ or CySA+ or GICSP
- Experience: Three years of experience in Analysis in Cyberspace, IT cybersecurity, IT security, and telecommunications principles.
