Job Description: work hours (8:00 to 17:00)
Verifies and enters information into the JDE ERP Enterprise Resources Planning system when needed and distributes material by performing goods receipts, goods issues and /or transfers; Prepares finished goods for shipment: wrapping, crating, etc.
· Pack components, assemblies and products for shipping.
· Build crates or cardboard containers as necessary.
· Make and label boxes for outgoing shipments.
· Ensure assembly labels on outgoing products correspond with work order numbers.
· Weigh shipments and transport to the staging area.
· Safely operate material handling equipment.
Input required transactions into the JDE ERP system.
· Insure proper rigging for vehicles arriving to and leaving from Weatherford property.
· Stock receivables as directed and sort and place them on racks, shelves, or bins, according to size, type, or product code. Mark material with identifying information where necessary.
· Organize and maintain material on shelf.
· Open crates and other containers using appropriate tools.
· Verify quantity and counts independently as required;
· Operate forklift to weigh product and transfer product to staging areas.
· Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
· Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
· Work Assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
· Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Qualifications:
· 1-2 years of general experience in shipping/recvg field
· 1 – 2 years of general experience in shipping/receiving or related field.
· Level of experience HS Diploma/GED
· Standard WFT BG activities
