Role Overview: This firm is looking for a System Administrator to manage the daily administration of their systems. You will research, develop, and test software, implement projects, coordinate upgrades, and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring network integrity and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer network servers and devices, maintaining performance logs and resolving issues.
- Provide support for client and server applications and perform hardware diagnostics.
- Maintain user setups, backups, and security protocols.
- Coordinate with vendors on unresolved network issues.
- Analyze, recommend, and implement software patches and upgrades.
- Manage SAN environments and administer VMware solutions.
- Offer responsive user support for software and hardware problems.
- Monitor security vulnerabilities and implement risk mitigation controls.
Qualifications:
- A two-year degree or relevant certification/training.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in client/server applications and hardware.
- Experience in a Windows Server environment, including SAN and VMware.
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and network systems.
