We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Open Pit Operations Mine Manager to lead and optimize our mining activities including optimizing production, haulage, and drill and blast operations. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of open pit mining processes, coupled with strong leadership skills to drive employee performance. This integral role requires a dynamic leader capable of managing diverse responsibilities while ensuring safe operational excellence and team development.
Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a multifaceted team, including production, haulage, drill, and blast personnel.
Production Management:
Haulage Oversight:
Drill and Blast Operations:
Training Department Oversight:
Safety and Environmental Compliance:
Budget Management:
Manage Mine production and operational budgets for production, haulage, drill and blast, leadership, and training.
Responsible for executing, supporting, and enforcing the Company's Environmental, Health and Safety program as required by OIS policy, directives, and principles.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Proven experience as an Open Pit Operations Mine Manager with expertise in production, haulage, drill and blast, leadership, and training.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
