Job Title: Construction Project Coordinator
A fully integrated real estate development firm is seeking a Project Coordinator to join its in-house construction team. This position will support multifamily and commercial projects and work closely with project managers to manage coordination and accounting responsibilities. This is an in-office role, based in North Houston.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit monthly draw packages
- Manage subcontractor billing, invoicing, and payments
- Process and input data into Timberscan/Titanium systems
- Reconcile lien notices and manage project closeouts (retainage payments, warranties, final documents)
- Maintain subcontractor records (W-9s, insurance, lien releases)
- Set up new projects and handle contract/purchase order management
- Track and update contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and plan logs
- Collaborate with project managers on payment applications, insurance, and invoices
- Support budgeting, cost reporting, and other administrative tasks
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in construction
- Accounting and construction administration experience preferred
- Experience with systems like Timberline, Intacct, GC Pay, Timberscan, or Procore
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
