Budgets and Contracts Specialist - Chandler, AZ
Location: Chandler, AZ
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, on site
Pay: $55,000 - $70,000

- Facilitate the negotiation and execution of contracts and budgets promptly and thoroughly.
- Develop budget templates within the Clinical Trial Management Software (CTMS) system.
- Lead or assist in projects and tasks as directed by the Budgets and Contracts Manager.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with both internal and external stakeholders via email, phone, video, and messaging platforms.
- Secure timely signatures from relevant parties for contract execution.
- Keep organized records of all contract-related documents.
- Collaborate with the clinical research coordinator, accounting team, and research schedulers to review CTMS system builds.
- Review completed study templates for accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with addressing study protocol questions as needed.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure the smooth implementation of new studies based on negotiated contracts.
- Understand and follow the clinical trial protocols and requirements for each study.
- Manage contracts with third-party vendors.
- Update and review contracts every two years or as required by internal or external factors.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse professional and administrative staff, sponsors, regulatory representatives, patients, research participants, and referral sources.
- Demonstrate professionalism and provide an excellent service experience to employees and research subjects.
Education, Credentials, and Training Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Nursing, or a Business-related field preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in accounting or billing within a clinical, hospital, or healthcare setting, or relevant experience in managing budgets and contracts in a medical-legal environment.
