Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced architect to oversee multiple design projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within strict deadlines and budget constraints. This role requires a blend of creative understanding, project management expertise, and excellent communication skills to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Initiation:
- Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, timelines, and budgets for each design project.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define project requirements and expectations.
- Identify and allocate the necessary resources, including designers, tools, and technologies.
Project Execution and Management:
- Oversee all phases of design projects, ensuring alignment with the project plan and company standards.
- Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary design teams, including graphic designers, UX/UI designers, copywriters, and developers.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
Creative Direction and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all design outputs meet high-quality standards and align with the client's brand guidelines and objectives.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to the design team to enhance creativity and efficiency.
- Review and approve design concepts, prototypes, and final deliverables before submission to clients.
Budget and Cost Management:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value delivery.
- Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with external vendors and freelancers as necessary.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project updates, feedback, and approvals.
- Facilitate effective communication between clients, internal teams, and external partners.
- Present project proposals, progress reports, and final presentations to clients and stakeholders.
Risk Management and Problem-Solving:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle promptly.
- Adapt project plans in response to changing circumstances or client requirements.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including briefs, schedules, meeting notes, and change logs.
- Prepare regular status reports and performance analyses for management.
- Use project management tools to track progress and maintain transparency across teams.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design prefered, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in design project management, preferably handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira) and design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Autocad, ArchiCAD).
