Schedule:
- Part-time, 5x4hr shifts/wk (20 hours/wk)
- Mon-Fri,
- Weekend & Holiday rotation
- Relieving other nurses by taking patient load during their allotted 30 min lunch break

Oncology:
Oncology is a 41-bed unit dedicated to providing personable, innovative, and compassionate care to all our patients, including those with new or complicated cancer diagnoses and hematological disorders. Our team works most closely with Mercy Hospitalists, Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Palliative Care, Hospice, and Chaplains. Nurses within the Oncology unit have an opportunity to grow in skills such as:
- Central lines
- Wound care
- Ostomy care
- IV therapy
- Corpaks, G-Tubes, NG tubes
- And more
Patient Population:
- New or current complex cancer diagnoses
- Inpatient chemotherapy administration
- Patients transitioning to end of life care
- Hematologic disorders, such as sickle cell
- Medical surgical diagnoses, such as diabetes, wound management, respiratory failure, acute kidney injury, and more!

Qualifications:
- Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- License: Must have either a current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the State of Missouri
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
