PEDS HOSP handle straightforward NICU admissions; neonatologists come in for complicated cases.>After-Hours Call Reasons: Pre-term delivery ( 30%, Stabilization for transport to higher-level careEMR: EpicHospital: 8-bed NICU Level II, 463 general bedsGroup/support: 7 Pediatric Hospitalists, 2 Full-Time Equivalent Neonatologists>PEDS HOSP are in-house 24/7, attending deliveries, admitting and caring for well-baby services, and caring for NICU babies overnight. Transition Nurse and Respiratory Therapist assist as needed.Requirements (boards, license): Board certified (board eligible if recently trained) with a California license, CA DEA, and COVID vaccine
