Role Overview:
The primary focus of this position will be to mentor the internal app development team, helping them build skills in Power Apps and related technologies. The role also requires some hands-on development for smaller projects and troubleshooting support. The ideal candidate should be comfortable providing guidance on best practices, architecture, and troubleshooting, while also contributing technical expertise where needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and coach the internal app development team, fostering a culture of learning and technical growth.
- Lead the team in adopting best practices for Power Apps development, ensuring high-quality code and efficient problem-solving techniques.
- Provide guidance on application architecture and design, with a focus on Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Occasionally assist with small-scale development projects and provide troubleshooting support.
- Collaborate with other technical leaders and stakeholders to align development practices with business goals.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience with Power Apps development.
- Experience as a team lead or team mentor to app dev teams.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power BI.
- Proven experience in mentoring, coaching, or leading development teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to guide others through complex technical challenges.
- Experience in Azure development architecture is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Logic Apps, or other Microsoft technologies.
- Background in solution architecture and project planning.
