How you will make an impact
- Determine design criteria in accordance with required standards and codes for assigned projects.
- Review the proposed new equipment layout and compare it with existing conditions in the plant.
- Validate the dimensions shown in the prints are correct for the new equipment to be fabricated. Make corrections as identified.
- Review and redline the 3D models and shop drawings for all identifiers that are created by the Designer(s) until they meet the owner’s specifications and needs of the project. Be sure shop drawings identify any field welds and or instructions that ARMI Manufacturing will need to know.
- Create field drawings and collect general information to translate existing processes and/or completed projects into as-built drawings for record keeping.
- Coordinate with Project Manager to utilize Project Management software to monitor changes, update schedules, track progress, manage budgets, and document project advancements.
- Responsible to be onsite throughout installation to oversee the Design Implementation is successful and correct.
- Lead project preparation for Project Manager and team for all projects.
- Assist in array of contract administration tasks including permitting, new vendor forms, and new customer requirements.
- Lead by training, mentoring, and providing guidance to team members.
What You Need to Succeed
- Mechanical degree preferred and/or applicable industry experience.
- Experience managing projects with Process Equipment & Installation for food processing industry
- Minimum of 3+ years in food process layouts using 2D and 3D software.
- Create manufacturing drawings and schedules.
- Experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, and/or CAD.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Experience with Procore – Project Management Software (preferred)
- OSHA 30, preferred
- Availability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Availability to work nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check
