An investment management firm in New York City is seeking an experienced professional to join their growing team as an Operations Associate.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with investment professionals on trading and operations transactions
- Responsible for the activity set-up, processing and settlement
- Assist with trade allocations and compliance with firm's various policies
- Execute treasury activities relating to trading, corporate actions, expenses and capital activity, etc.
- Responsible for daily reconciliations between internal accounting system, external administrator and custodian
- Produce internal reporting for various stakeholders
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to multitask while maintaining excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical abilities and communication skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and work ownership
- Experience with alternative investment products
Desired Skills:
- Experience in Geneva or Quantify (or other risk systems) software
