PLEASE NOTE: This role is based around an hour north of Seattle and would be required to be on site Mon-Fri.
Position Summary
The Project and Manufacturing Engineer will lead efforts to improve productivity, troubleshoot production challenges, and implement new equipment and processes. Responsibilities include overseeing projects, training team members, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Obtain quotes for equipment and lead productivity improvement projects.
Analyze data and solve production issues.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Support new equipment installation and troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
Create standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Train and mentor team members.
Skills and Qualifications
Knowledge of safety and design standards.
Experience with automation, robotics, and control systems.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience
Degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Mechatronics, Controls Technology) or equivalent experience.
1-3 years of experience in manufacturing automation.
Understanding of process control and safety systems.
