Responsible for the overall operation of the department to include all services, policies/procedures, and ensuring adherence to CCU/PCU/Telemetry/AIC/DHU nursing standards of care. Reports directly to the CNO.
12 Beds in ICU.
16 Beds in PCU.
60 FTEs between PCU, ICU & Tele Depts.
1 Manager under this Director role.
Managers and CNCs is the support system for the role.
- Licensed RN, with BSN, Mastered preferred.
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider is required
- 3+ years nursing leadership experience REQUIRED.
- Must have experience in leading and managing an ICU Department in an acute care setting.
