Assistant Director / Director of Finance with experience in luxury hotel brands – based in Miami, USA

We seek a strong Assistant Director/Director of Finance with extensive experience in luxury hotel groups for a well respected real estate/hospitality development and management group based in USA.
Our client’s mandatory requirement for this role includes extensive experience in the Finance division. Asset Management experience would be a great plus. Only those candidates who have working experience in luxury International hotels and real estate/development group will be considered.
The Director of Finance will be based at the company’s corporate office in Miami and will have a proven track record in finance and asset management, with a strong understanding of the intricacies of the hospitality industry. This role requires a dynamic leader who can drive financial performance and support the organization’s growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Leadership: Oversee all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. Ensure accurate financial analysis and reporting to inform strategic decision-making.
• Asset Management: Manage the financial performance of a diverse portfolio of properties. Analyze investment opportunities and provide recommendations to optimize returns.
• Development Financial Strategy: Collaborate with development teams to assess project viability, conduct feasibility studies, and create financial models for new developments and renovations.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure financial health and stability. Develop strategies to improve cash flow efficiency.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and compliance requirements in the hospitality and real estate sectors.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and partners, to support financial initiatives and objectives.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the organization’s strategic planning process by providing financial insights and analyses that align with business goals.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certifications (CPA, CFA) preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance roles, with a focus on asset management, luxury hospitality, or real estate development.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices in the hospitality and real estate sectors.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop finance professionals.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
Compensation:
Annual Salary is based on experience and skill set.
