Our client is currently seeking a Lead Project Manager to help manage projects around ServiceNow implementation project
This is a contract role that must be done onsite 3 days per week in Chicago
No Third Parties
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Planning and managing the ServiceNow implementation project portfolio, monitoring active projects to determine mentoring and coaching opportunities for assigned project managers, stewarding the PM Framework and PPM toolset repository, and providing direct supervision for project managers
- Leads team in project portfolio planning, including annual planning and quarterly planning review for selected project work and resource allocations
- Facilitates PPM meetings, including periodically presenting project portfolio status and progress updates
- Manages the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling and closing of Information Technology (IT) projects in support of organizational area's strategic objectives and ongoing operations
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience leading and managing Project Managers
- Education industry a huge plus
- ServiceNow implementation experience
- Experience with MS Office, MS Project, etc
- PMP certification or equivalent
