Project Engineer
We are recruiting for a Project Engineer to manage projects from design to final product out the door, including tooling, fixtures, gauging, production routings, schedules, dimensional approval, costs, profitability, and customer contact / correspondence.
The project engineer: ·
- Develops, evaluates and improves manufacturing methods.
- Participate in foundry related process improvement projects.
- Investigates and corrects quality related issues.
- Make recommendations to management to resolve casting issues including alloy selection, design improvements, and post-cast process steps.
- Is knowledgeable of 3D solid modeling (SolidCast), NX (UniGraphics) or ProE .
- Determines the processes, identifies the materials and supplies to be used, and designs and builds appropriate fixtures necessary for efficient and cost effective manufacturing.

Candidates should possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical or Materials Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of project engineering experience.
