Job Description: As a Lease Pricing Specialist II, you will provide analytical support to Global Leasing client teams throughout the sales process for structured asset-finance transactions. This includes US True Leases, finance leases, and loans across various asset classes and markets. You will integrate tax, accounting, credit, and other financial constraints into lease optimization models and prepare pricing and economic analyses for clients, coordinating with internal teams to finalize pricing for funding and booking. This role requires working independently with limited direction and occasionally supporting strategic analytic assignments or tool development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate transaction economics using pre-tax and after-tax metrics, optimize cash flows and structures, and advise on tax and technical aspects of lease structuring.
- Act as an analytical consultant providing economic expertise and structuring solutions to the Leasing team, external clients, and management.
- Coordinate with Credit, Risk, Finance, Tax, and Operations to address economic, tax, structural, or accounting questions.
- Develop and maintain analytical models to support the Global Leasing business.
- Prepare presentation materials for internal and external presentations, pricing exhibits for documentation, and assist in reviewing/developing transaction documentation.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- 3+ years of proven experience with cash flow analysis and/or financial modeling in Leasing, Structured Asset Finance, Project Finance, or similar fields.
- Expertise in using Excel and/or specialized tools for cash flow optimization and analysis.
- A solid understanding of leasing or related asset finance products, including knowledge of taxation, accounting, or regulatory capital calculations.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen in the commercial banking industry.
- Ability to challenge inefficient solutions and proactively escalate concerns.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in Ivory SuperTrump and/or Warren & Selbert ABC, or similar tools.
- Coding skills are beneficial but not essential.
- Experience working with Accounting, Tax, Credit, Operations, or Documentation functions in Leasing, Structured Asset Finance, Project Finance, or a similar sector.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Theoretical Science, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a computational or mathematical focus.
