Position Overview
The Senior Manager of Accounting Operations will initially focus on overseeing the global accounts payable function within the finance team. This role is vital for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and expense reimbursements while providing exceptional support to staff. Over time, the responsibilities will expand to encompass cash operations, treasury functions, trust management, and other operational duties. The Manager will prioritize establishing effective processes, optimizing technology use, and offering strong leadership to a team that requires guidance in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete accounts payable process, including vendor management, invoice processing, expense reimbursements, and ledger entries.
- Guide and support team members, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
- Establish efficient processes and leverage technology to enhance workflows and productivity.
- Manage credit card processing and reconcile vendor transactions.
- Lead month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Set and track key performance indicators to boost team effectiveness and ensure compliance.
- Implement compliance protocols to minimize errors and fraud risks.
- Supervise the preparation of annual tax forms, ensuring adherence to regulations.
- Analyze tax accounts and prepare necessary filings.
- Represent accounts payable in cross-departmental projects and initiatives.
- Ensure timely processing while maintaining current vendor accounts.
Requirements

Education

Experience
At least seven (7) years of relevant accounts payable experience in a large corporate or professional services environment, along with significant experience in providing leadership and managing teams.
