We are looking for a Project Manager in Raleigh that has experience with commercial projects. Our client is a growing commercial general contractor that is based in Raleigh and has a strong pipeline of projects coming up locally.
Title: Project Manager
Start Date: November, 2024
Location: Raleigh, NC
Pay Range: Depends on experience, but a rough range for the base is $90-125k
Market Sector: Commercial Construction - Specifically upfits/renovations for offices, healthcare, industrial, retail, and life sciences.
*Prior experience as a Project Manager for a General Contractor is required*
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs
- Set performance goals and deadlines
- Manage project documentation, project schedule and deadlines
- Assist with estimation and bidding process
- Effectively communicate project progress to key stakeholders
- Strategic planning, maintenance of the project budget, coordination and management of the overall project schedule, and maintaining positive vendor and client relationships.
- Oversight of the successive phases of projects.
- Subcontractor bidding and contract negotiations for projects.
- Project team selection, management and development.
- Overall safety and scheduling for assigned projects.
- Institute and oversee all procedures required for the work to be completed according to schedule.
- Interaction and communication with owner, architect, engineers and subcontractors.
- Adhering to company standards while completing projects on time and under budget
Qualifications:
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years' experience being a Project Manager or similar on commercial projects directly for a general contractor
- Experience with corporate upfits/renovations is a huge plus
- Proficient with Procore and Microsoft Office
- Driver's License and good driving record
