Position Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and upgrades of IBM i systems
- Fully manage and execute the disaster recovery plan, including regular testing
- Administer and enforce AS400 security policies
- Handle the installation and configuration of AS400 software applications
- Provide secondary support for the Microsoft Windows network
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- A demonstrated history of collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet organizational objectives
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing IBM i / AS400 systems
- Experience administering Microsoft Windows environments (preferred but not required)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with both employees and clients
