Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight: Manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Site Management: Coordinate day-to-day activities, including site safety, quality control, and subcontractor performance.
Scheduling: Develop and maintain construction schedules, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments to keep projects on track.
Subcontractor Coordination: Oversee the work of all subcontractors, ensuring proper execution of tasks in accordance with project plans and specifications.
Quality Control: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
Budget Management: Work with project managers to track budgets and manage cost-effective operations.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process, including delays, material shortages, and personnel challenges.
Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Safety Enforcement: Implement and enforce safety protocols on-site to maintain a secure work environment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, including labor, materials, and equipment used.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, particularly on commercial and/or residential projects.
Familiarity with construction management software and scheduling tools.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of local building codes, OSHA regulations, and industry safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and construction documents.
Experience managing multiple subcontractors and trades.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected challenges.
