THE OPPORTUNITY
We are excited to grow our Digital team, specifically our paid search practice! The Head of Paid Search position is at the heart of our digital business, providing a unique link between strategy, planning, buying, and analysis functions. This leader will be able to work collaboratively with Executive Leadership, Client Services (and Clients), Data Analytics, Media, and Operations teams. The successful candidate will be empowered to directly plan, strategize, build, execute, and optimize PPC media campaigns across diverse business portfolios while running the overall search practice and managing a team. This employee will be exposed to multiple areas of media including media mix modeling, data analysis, traditional media planning/buying (TV, Radio, Print, etc.), social media teams, programmatic trading, and be a leader of a fast-growing team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Exhibit thought leadership and ongoing innovation with all clients and internal teams on Paid Search
- Leverage expertise to drive company revenue by way of client ROI/ROAS within the medium
- Manage, develop, and grow the paid search team driving to accomplish bigger and better things for our clientele
- Grow client business via surpassing KPIs, delivering insights, and building relationships
- Leverage campaign management and business intelligence tools
- Be the Key Driver for the Search practice to deliver award-winning results, foster innovation, and rapid acceleration towards the cutting edge within Search
- Consistently demonstrates a focus on improving process and workflow, including (but not limited to) task automation, tool adoption, utilization of globally sourced resources, etc.
- Builds + maintains relationships with senior-level agency partners (Google, Microsoft, etc.) to facilitate training, education, and other miscellaneous support needs on behalf of the assigned clients and teams.
- Contributes and/or leads business development efforts when required.
- Work with other Marketing departments to aid in any of the following: Ad operations, Pre-campaign Analysis, Post-campaign insight reporting, Troubleshooting, Media POVs, and media insights.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of Paid Search experience w/ management experience
- Agency or client-side experience preferable
- Demonstrated experience scaling paid search teams and clients
- Google, Bing expertise/certifications (incl. shopping); Amazon a plus
- Experience with tags/pixels + GTM
- Excellent, polished presentation skills; comfortable in client-facing role
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills are essential
- The ability to work with large datasets in Excel files and BI internal tools
- A working knowledge of statistical models

- Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mentality
- Strong communication skills and an ability to work both independently and contribute within a team environment
- Experience with DSP, Social Media buying platforms preferred
