HCLTech is looking to hire a Hardware Inventory Manager for an ongoing engagement with our client who is the largest online search platform company.
Job requirement and responsibilities :
(1) Hardware Operations Support
(a) Collect, organize and maintain data source(s).
(b) Manage and track project notes and timelines.
(c) Coordinate project communication to internal teams and external customers and partners.
(d) Perform basic hardware or software tests and record results.
(2) Hardware Request
(a) Create and or manage/execute on hardware recipient lists.
(b) Manage hardware requests in the request queue (translate requests into tasks, resolve requests where possible or escalate requests to the appropriate contact, where Contractor is unable to resolve such requests).
(c) Validate business requirements and compliance for hardware requests as specified in the agreed upon documentation using tools/systems.
(d) Provide regular updates to the end users on their tickets.
(e) Manage communications around hardware recalls.
(f) Initiate and execute procurement-related activities to stock program needs as directed . Procurement-related activities do not include approving POs, but do include, for example purposes only, generating requisitions, processing POs approved, and confirming device units.
(3) Inventory
(a) Support and ensure that all Inventory is tracked, monitored and managed from initial receipt through to disposition as specified within the agreed upon documentation including, but not limited to:
(i) Retiring broken or damaged devices.
(ii) Working with internal teams to recover lost or stolen assets/stock.
(b) Monitor inventory reports and dashboards
(c) Ensure that all Inventory is recorded as specified within the agreed upon documentation which includes ensuring that all eligible stock is accounted for in tools/systems.
(d) Manage the Cycle Counting Hardware activities, which includes and not limited to, scanning of bi- weekly cycle counts, accessories, investigations, MyBill Queries. (e) Ensure all active stock is in working order.
(f) Manage data integrity for Seeker transactions. Activities include:
(i) Identify and report on anomalies and/or inaccuracies in Seeker data (e.g. the location, status, and count of Supported Assets and Supported Accessories).
(ii) Initiate corrective actions via email or GUTS tickets.
(iii) Validate any necessary corrections have been completed via Seeker reports
(g) Create and manage inventory records
(4) Logistics and Compliance
(a) Monitor and track supplier inbound shipments.
(b) Resolve any inbound/outbound transportation, delivery and customs issues by working with internal teams.
(c) Validate results of GPN classification and compliance research performed by internal teams.
(d) Collect, organize and review product compliance documentation.
(e) Ensure all shipments meet compliance standards and guidelines as provided.
(5) Product Lifecycle Management
(a) Create Part numbers (“GPNs”) in Product Lifecycle Management (“PLM”) system.
(b) Coordinate valuation, classification and compliance research of GPNs with internal teams.
(c) Enter GPNs into systems/tools as specified in the agreed upon documentation.
(d) Manage data Integrity for transactions. Activities include:
(i) Identify and report on anomalies and/or inaccuracies in data (e.g. GPN attributes in the wrong fields).
(ii) Initiate corrective actions via email or tickets.
(iii) Validate any necessary corrections have been completed via reports or dashboards
