LHH is partnering with our San Diego, CA legal client to recruit a Event Marketing Specialist to join their team on a permanent, direct hire basis. This role is largely focused on managing events for any conferences, client town halls, partnership events and internal events. Tis role is perfect for someone well versed in vendor management, event coordination, and team collaboration, as they will be strategizing and working with colleagues.
This team has seen excellent growth and is looking to bring someone on to continue to promote the attorneys and brand itself. They are looking for a great communicator that is hyper-organized, as there are a plethora of events in various locations, sometimes requiring travel. This is a HYBRID opportunity in San Diego, CA, allowing the candidate to reside in Los Angeles, Orange or San Diego County. They provide a robust benefits plan and other unique perks, and compensation for this role ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 annually, dependent on level of relevant experience.
You will:
- Manage and coordinate upcoming events for company marketing, regional location partnership events, conference booth presence, and town halls.
- Conduct research for vendors, venues and other event logistics and travel arrangements while negotiating contracts and maintaining budgets.
- Work closely with senior leadership to strategize opportunities for speaking engagements and presentation opportunities.
- Facilitate all virtual events and branding efforts with scheduling and logistics.
- Support other marketing and business development efforts as needed, including research, event logistics, marketing collateral and other strategic campaign execution.
Your experience should include:
- 3+ year(s) combined of legal marketing and event management
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Strong administrative and organizational skills to manage multiple events at once
- Proficient in live streaming platforms like zoom, Facebook Live and more for virtual townhalls
- Excellent communication skills, able to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with the team effectively
- Excellent listener, able to comprehend and execute manager expectations and feedback well
