Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Truck Driver-CDL A at Harris Hauling LLC in Terre Haute, IN. As a Truck Driver-CDL A, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over local/tri-state area, ensuring safe and timely deliveries. You will be drop & hooking 2-3 van loads a day, occasionally a pre-strapped flat bed load that you will need to stop and check straps on the way to your delivery location. All tools that are needed are provided, i.e. strap winder, winch bar, tablet, etc. You will need to be to be able to communicate with supervisor(s) as needed. Scales are provided at facility and you will need to be able to use them to check that you are not overweight. Pay is 25% truck rate starting out first 90 days, after 90 days after good behavior and following necessary protocols pay can increase to 30% truck rate.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Clean driving record (MVR, PSP)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and DOT guidelines
