GoAuto is a family-oriented company based in Louisiana. We currently write policies in Louisiana, Nevada, Ohio, and Texas. We believe everyone who needs auto insurance should be able to have access to it at an affordable price.
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the implementation of solutions to meet business needs. This role involves working closely with teams across various departments, such as underwriting, claims, and customer service, to gather requirements and develop insights that drive decision-making
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with coworkers and other departments to understand and document their needs, translating them into functional and non-functional requirements.
- Data Analysis: Analyze business data, processes, and performance metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Process Mapping: Develop detailed process flows and business process documentation to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Solution Design: Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that align with business objectives, enhancing efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Reporting and Documentation: Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Project Support: Assist in project planning, coordination, and monitoring to ensure successful delivery of projects on time and within scope.
- User Testing and Training: Support the testing of new systems and processes and provide training to end-users as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a business analyst, preferably in the insurance industry (auto insurance experience is a plus).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
- Experience with business analysis software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, or other process mapping tools).
- Familiarity with insurance industry systems and technologies is an advantage.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with a keen ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Jira) is a plus.
