Day to Day:
A partner of Insight Global is looking to hire a Product Innovation Strategist to join their growing team in Port Washington, NY. This person will work closely with the R&D teams and marketing teams to find gaps in the existing product portfolio and innovate new ideas and concepts to expand their product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying areas of growth and partnering with R&D to develop new products from start to end.
Key Responsibilities :
- Innovation Strategy Development: Lead the development and implementation of innovative product strategies that align with the company’s vision and market trends.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Ideation and Concept Development: Generate and evaluate new product ideas, concepts, and prototypes through brainstorming sessions and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the strategic direction and key milestones for product innovation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, engineering, and sales teams, to ensure alignment and successful execution of product strategies.
- Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback and insights to inform product development and improve user experience.
- Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product innovation initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA is a plus.
- Proficiency in both Korean and English (Required).
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience within the marketing/product innovation space
- Proven experience in business planning, strategy development, and execution.
- Strong background in product management and marketing, including managing the launch process from start to finish.
- Ability to work successfully in a deadline-driven environment with a sense of urgency.
- Strong understanding and passion for the beauty and fashion category, culture, and seasonal trends. (more of a plus, not too held up on industry at this moment)
- Excellent organizational planning and follow-up skills, with assertiveness, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Positive attitude and ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently and timely.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
