Position Overview:
We are seeking a Mid-Level Document Control Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in managing the documentation flow within our projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, security, and timely management of documents related to infrastructure bond programs. This role is key to maintaining the integrity of project information, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional client experiences and contribute to the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement document control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the receipt, tracking, and distribution of documents within the project team and with external stakeholders.
- Maintain and update electronic document management systems (EDMS) to ensure quick retrieval of documents and drawings.
- Coordinate the submission and distribution of project deliverables, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure the integrity and accuracy of project documentation.
- Train and support project team members in document control practices and the use of document management systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely communication of project information.
- Provide regular reports on document control status and metrics to project management.
- Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in document control within the construction or engineering industry.
- Proficient in using document management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of project management processes and documentation requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
