Position Overview:
Adams & Martin Group is pleased to partner with a highly reputable personal injury law firm in Atlanta, GA, seeking a seasoned Legal Assistant. This critical role requires a minimum of three years of legal assistant experience, specifically within a personal injury law environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and proficiency in e-filing through platforms such as PeachCourt, Odyssey, and PACER. This position is suited for a detail-oriented professional who excels in docketing, calendaring, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
Manage e-filing procedures across various systems including PeachCourt, Odyssey, and PACER.
Efficiently handle docketing and calendaring to ensure compliance with all legal timelines and deadlines.
Assist with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence.
Maintain organized case files and assist in managing case progress.
Coordinate and schedule meetings, hearings, depositions, and other legal events.
Liaise with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.
Provide additional administrative support such as data entry and document management as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years' experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably within a personal injury law firm.
Proficiency in e-filing on platforms like PeachCourt, Odyssey, and PACER is essential.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Profound attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Familiarity with legal document preparation and revision.
Advanced proficiency with legal software tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
