Position Summary: The Aspire Senior Workforce Management Project Manager is responsible for providing project leadership and task management for the Workforce Management track of our transformational HCM program. This role involves working closely with Functional and Technical leadership, cross-functional teams, and subject matter experts to plan and manage key project activities related to scheduling, hourly and vacation management, and other workforce management functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership, Planning, and Execution: Lead and manage the Workforce Management track from initiation to completion. Develop and manage plans outlining scope, deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, risks, and interdependencies.
- Project Team Management: Lead a project team in conjunction with functional and technical leadership, assigning roles and responsibilities to team members.
- Stakeholder Management and Communications: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, manage expectations, solve problems, and drive decisions.
- Project Governance: Establish and follow project governance structures, processes, and frameworks.
- Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources across projects, optimizing utilization and addressing conflicts.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Monitoring and Control: Implement processes to monitor and control project progress, milestones, scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
- Change Control: Manage changes within the project, including scope, requirements, or timelines.
- Vendor Management & Partnership: Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and process enhancements.
Must Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of progressive, relevant experience in a Project Manager role.
- Experience managing complex, large-scale system implementations.
- Expert leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing and partnering with large, third-party system implementation partners.
- Specific experience with Workforce Management systems (e.g., Kronos, UKG, Workday).
- Willingness and ability to work at our HQ office in Seattle, WA three days a week.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure related to Workforce Management.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Enthusiastic collaborator with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Hourly contract rate range of $75.00 to $80.00 based on experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
