Job Title: Police Officer (Uniformed Division)

Salary: $69,797 - $120,069 per year
Key Requirements:
Age: Must be 20 years old at the time of application and 21 years old by the time of appointment and less than age 37 at the time you receive a conditional offer of employment.Applicants must be under 40 unless they have previous service in a Federal Civilian Law Enforcement position covered by special law enforcement or firefighter retirement provisions.Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or certificate of equivalency is required.Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license.Experience: No prior experience required; and freshers are encouraged to apply!Veteran’s Preference: Applicants with veteran's preference must receive a conditional offer of employment prior to reaching age 40 to continue in the application process.
Salary:
$73,502 - $126,449 per year depending on experience and qualifications.

Your Role:
As a Police Officer with the Department of Homeland Security, you will:
- Provide protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
- Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
- Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.
