Business Analyst - Fund Accounting
Duration - Full-Time, Permanent Role
Location - Hybrid, Denver, CO (On-Site 3 days per week)
Salary - $120k - $140k Annually
Responsibiliites:
- Collaborate with Global Operations teams and stakeholders to confirm project scope and gather, define, and document business requirements.
- Conduct functional and service gap analyses, partnering with business subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed.
- Lead and contribute to the design of the Target Operating Model for Global Operations, ensuring active participation and approval from functional leaders.
- Partner with relevant business SMEs to identify and implement controls and improvements to reduce risks in manual or critical processes.
- Support project delivery by ensuring that risks and issues are properly logged, monitored, and escalated when necessary to prioritize and address solutions and defects.
- Assist in testing activities by providing training to end users, supporting SMEs with the creation of test scripts (including success criteria), planning resources, and coordinating the overall testing status for Global Operations within the program.
- Support, document, and maintain operational artifacts throughout the project lifecycle, including project plans, status updates, business requirements documentation, process flows, and operating model documentation.
Requirements:
- Expertise in U.S. Fund Operations, specifically in Fund Valuations, Fund and Financial Reporting, and Tax.
- Prior experience working on change management programs.
- Proficiency in writing and implementing business requirements, creating process maps, and developing user stories.
- Strong stakeholder management abilities.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft applications, including Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Previous experience in finance.
