A well-established and rapidly expanding multi-disciplinary Architectural, Engineering, and Consulting firm in New York is seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join their team as a Senior Structural Restoration Engineer.

Role responsibilities:
- Lead structural engineering projects involving investigation, design, analysis, repair, and renovation of structures.
- Develop and maintain client relationships to align project objectives and deliverables.
- Define project scope, objectives, and key deliverables.
- Assemble and manage project teams, ensuring alignment with project needs.
- Monitor and manage project schedules and budgets to meet deadlines and cost constraints.
- Prepare technically sound reports, designs, and analyses that meet client requirements.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients, managing expectations and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Apply engineering judgment and knowledge of codes, design guidelines, and industry practices.
- Perform and train others in hands-on fieldwork and technical processes.
- Promote a culture of knowledge sharing, fostering skill development within the team.
- Engage in formal and informal mentorship activities, supporting colleagues at all levels.
- Participate in recruiting, developing, and engaging new consultants to strengthen the team.
- Collaborate with other practice leaders on internal knowledge-sharing and training initiatives.
- Actively engage in professional organizations, conferences, and technical committees to stay current and contribute to industry advancement.
Role Requirements:
- Hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of New York, or have the ability to obtain it by comity; a Structural Engineer (SE) license is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the structural engineering field, with a focus on technical and project management.
- Possess a Master’s degree in civil/structural engineering or a related field.
- Relevant experience includes failure/damage investigations, non-destructive evaluation and instrumentation, structural analysis, and design for the repair, retrofit, and rehabilitation of existing structures
- Experience in parking garage evaluations and specialty consulting on new systems and materials throughout design and construction phases would be a plus
- Recognized expertise with a range of materials and systems
- Demonstrate strong skills in technical, graphical, written, and verbal communication
