Field Service Technician
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment at customer locations. As a Field Service Technician, you will be a key resource in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and effective service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with customer equipment.
- Provide training to customer personnel on machine operation and maintenance.
- Offer guidance and recommendations on spare parts and equipment upgrades.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve machine designs and performance.
- Complete service reports detailing work performed and any follow-up actions needed.
- Provide remote support through phone and online diagnostic tools as required.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical machine repair.
- Strong understanding of PLC systems, wiring schematics, and industrial electronics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to travel frequently, often up to 70-85%, to various locations.
- Technical certification or an associate’s degree in a related field is preferred.
