Position: Controller
Location: Sand Springs, OK
Pay: $100k to 130k/year (depending on experience)
Experience: 5 years of hands-on accounting managerial experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- CPA certification and or MBA in accounting/finance or equivalent experience preferred
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
ProRecruiters is seeking a Controller to join a growing and dynamic team! The Controller is the head of the accounting department and is responsible for financial and managerial accounting.
Job Description:
- Prepare, examine, and analyze financial records, statements, and reports for accuracy and compliance with standards
- Manage the budgeting process, establish schedules, and analyze variances
- Analyze business trends, costs, revenues, and commitments to project future performance
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Evaluate business operations and provide financial advice on trends, commitments, and revenues
- Summarize financial status and prepare analytical financial reports
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account data
- Perform daily cash management, banking activities, and manage payables and deposits
- Administer the company credit card program and expense reporting tools
- Oversee commercial insurance renewals, compliance, and certificates and manage employee activities within the accounting department

- Possession of strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
- Great technical capacity and financial management
- Must be self-motivated
