Masis Professional Group is seeking an IT Director for a prime manufacturing client delivers cold chain solutions to the biopharma industry. This is a full-time Permanent role.
The Director of IT will lead and oversee the organization's technology strategy and operations. This role involves strategic planning, management, and execution of IT initiatives to support business objectives, streamline operations, and ensure the security and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. The Director of IT will work closely with the CFO to align technology investments with financial goals and business priorities.

2.Strategic Planning and Execution:
o Advise on and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the company’s overall business objectives and financial goals.
o Collaborate with the CFO to budget and forecast IT expenditures, ensuring alignment with financial planning and cost management strategies.
3. IT Infrastructure Management:
o Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services, with a focus on Microsoft technologies (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure).
o Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of IT systems to support business operations.
4. Team Leadership and Development:
o Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
o Identify skill gaps and provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
5. Project Management:
o Direct IT projects from conception through execution, including system upgrades, migrations, and integrations, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
o Implement project management best practices and ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
6. Cybersecurity and Compliance:
o Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems from internal and external threats.
o Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, including data protection and privacy laws.
7. Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
o Lead relationships with IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service levels meet organizational needs.
o Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to understand their technology needs and provide appropriate solutions.
8. Continuous Improvement:
o Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement improvements that enhance operational efficiency and support business innovation.
o Evaluate and optimize IT processes and systems for cost-effectiveness and performance.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field - Required
- Advanced security certifications (CISA, CISM, or similar) - Preferred
- Proven experience (10+ years) in IT management roles, including leadership positions.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, etc.)
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity principles, and compliance requirements.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001/27002, SOC2, or similar)
- Familiar with data security policies (GDPR, CCPA, or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, projects, and vendor relationships effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
