Summary:
As a member of the health care team, evaluates and treats patients with cognitive, physical, and psychosocial deficits within the scope of a licensed occupational therapist. Collaborates with other hospital personnel to ensure quality care for the patient. May supervise the activities of COTA, Therapy Technicians and Student Interns.
Requirements:
A. Education/Skills
Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy with a Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
B. Experience
New graduate or experienced occupational therapist.
C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
Must be licensed in the State of Texas as an Occupational Therapist, Registered
American Heart Association BLS - within two (2) weeks of employment
