Tier I: Telemetry; Medical-Surgical, Women's Pavilion;
Tier II: Meet all Tier 1 criteria and be competent to float to a minimum of two (2) specialty areas (ICU, ED, L&D/Nursery, Inpatient Behavioral Health) in addition to any of Tier I units;
Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum 2-year RN experience and current RN license to practice in NC
Certifications Required for Tier I:
- Medical-Surgical: BLS required, NIH within 3 months of hire or transfer into the position.
- Telemetry: BLS required. ACLS within 3 months of hire or transfer into the position.
- Women's: BLS required
Certifications Required for Tier 2:
- ICU: BLS required. ACLS, NIH and Handle with Care within three months of hire or transfer into the position.
- CCU: BLC required. ACLS, NIH and Handle with Care within three months of hire or transfer into the position.
- ED: BLS required. ACLS, PALS, NIH and Handle with Care within three months of hire or transfer into the position., ASLS and TNCC preferred.
- L&D: BLS required. ACLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring and Handle with Care within three months of hire or transfer into the position.
- Nursery: BLS required. NRP within three months of hire or transfer into the position.
- Inpatient Behavioral Health: BLS required, Handle with Care required
