Akkodis is seeking a candidate for a EAM Specialist position with one of our Fortune 500 partners in the Automotive industry. Employees can work remotely but need local candidate.
This specialist will be the responsible project manager for the Electric/Electronic integration and buildability of a new vehicle projects.
Role Responsibilities
? Lead of task groups for CFT and EAM assigned tasks.
? Prioritizing problems within functional area and work tasks for project team.
? Present project report to board level and upper management in project meetings e.g. Launch and Pilot Hall
in English and German when required.
? Manage technical changes in new projects and model updates.
? Evaluate project risk, define and implement counter measures and escalate when necessary.
? Manage E/E project meetings, organize kick-off and regular follow up meetings and Lessons Learned
workshops. Delegate tasks to team members, lead problem solving meetings in case the team has no
consensus and be accountable for the results.
? Analysis of engineering changes for feasibility and efficiency
? Generate and distribute EE status reports on a regular base.
? Coordinate vehicle analysis team to escalate topics within the EAM group and follow up with the current
status.
? Lead contact in working groups for product and process improvements and represent Pilot Hall in project
meetings.
? Escalate topics in a proper manner when they are not solved in an appropriate time, e.g. KPM, AEKO, AWE
? Self-driven improvement of work environment.
? Interface to other departments e.g. Planning, Quality and Assembly/Vehicle Finish department,
Development, Baureihe, Fachgruppe and Set for project changes and deviations.
? Actively work with other brand departments to improve EAM process. Give feedback about process
issues in Chattanooga and be represent for local solutions.
? Mentor for new employees and Foreign service employee (FSE)
? Create integration and training documents for new employees and FSE’s
? Calculate project resources headcount and budget for new projects
? Be role model for integrity and diversity
? Enforce lessons learned mentality
? Define and evaluate new processes and project requirements. Lead the implementation of these
changes.

? Degree in Electric/Electronic engineering or proof of similar qualification.
? Able to manage and lead CFT groups
? Knowledge of Automotive Electric/Electronics
? Knowledge in Business Economy
? Fluent in English
? Able to speak and understand German
? > 5 years of experiences in related job field.
? Good knowledge in MS office (Excel and PowerPoint).
? Experiences in Automotive Project Management
? Decision making and problem solving skills
? Experiences in organization of project teams
? Good understanding of change management and its implications
? Willing to work flexible hours (incl. weekend and overtime)
? Advanced degree in Electrical and/or Project Management
? Experiences in Business Case Calculation
? 10+ years job related experience with automotive background
? Good understanding of change management and its implications
? Able to read and write German
? Able to understand Spanish
