Role Description
This is a full-time Litigation Associate Attorney role based in Lake Oswego, OR, with flexibility for some remote work. As a Litigation Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks related to civil litigation defense. This includes drafting and filing motions, preparing for and attending court trials, conducting depositions, and providing legal counsel to clients.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of law and civil litigation procedures
- Experience in drafting and arguing motions
- Ability to effectively navigate the court system
- Experience in trial preparation and courtroom representation
- Proficiency in conducting depositions and witness examinations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Admission to the Oregon State Bar
- Prior experience in construction defect and casualty claims is a plus
