Myticas's direct client based out of North Chicago, IL is currently seeking a Mobile Engineer, for a 100% REMOTE - 6 Months contract position (possible further extension).
Job Summary:
As a Software Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and AR experiences using Unity for mobile platforms, including native iOS applications.
You will also implement AI/ML functionalities, focusing on edge inference to enhance application performance and user experience.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement web applications, AR experiences, and native iOS applications using Unity for mobile devices.
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into applications, focusing on edge inference for real-time processing and enhanced performance.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner, ensuring a smooth user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in AR, mobile development, native iOS development, and AI/ML, to enhance application features and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web applications, AR, native iOS development, and AI/ML using Unity.
- Proficiency in C# and a strong understanding of Unity’s architecture and components.
- Experience with mobile app development and deployment on platforms such as iOS and Android.
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of AR frameworks (e.g., ARKit, ARCore) and experience implementing AR features.
- Experience with native iOS development using Swift or Objective-C.
- Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and experience integrating edge inference capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
